Hello, my name is Michelle Sandfeld and I am 17 years old and live in Denmark. I have been playing soccer since I was 10 years old and I'm currently playing offensive or central midfield for the G18 in Vildbjerg SF, which is among the largest girls clubs in Denmark.
For an extended period of 2 years, I have been playing wing-back on both sides and full-back, which has been on both the National Team and for my Club. I have been playing on the Danish National Team since I was 14, and have been on both G15, G16, G17 and G19. I have gathered a lot of memories throughout my soccer career, and some of the biggest are my matches against France, Germany, Spain and Russia, when we were attending the European Qualifiers Round. I am going to take a break from the National Team, which means that I will be playing and practicing, with both the G18 and the seniors in 2019.
The seniors are in the qualifiers for the best women’s league in Denmark, while the G18 are playing in the best division in our age group. I have been playing with Scandia United Soccer Academy (SUSA), which is a USA based organization, where Danish and American soccer players, get the opportunity to play soccer together.
I am interested in attending college in the United States, and playing soccer for my college. I am known for my abilities to make my teammates look good, speed, skills, good decision making and distributing the ball. I always put my teammates first, and therefore I strive to always set the team’s ambitions and successes, higher than my own personal dreams and wishes.
